    Белград сепак ќе добие метро. Планот за изградба на новата сообраќајна структура во градот опфаќа изградба на две метро линии и четири лини на т.н БГ воз, кои ќе бидат интегрирани во еден систем. Метрото ќе се гради во фази, а почетокот на изградбата на првата линија е планиран за 2020 година.

    Тоа е утврдено со планот кој е усвоен со мнозинството гласови на заседанието на Собранието на градот. Според зборовите на заменик градоначалникот на Белград „новата инфраструктура значи поврзување на Лазаревац и Младеновац, како и Сурчин и аеродромот. Планирано е и проширување на трамвајската мрежа кон Земун, и низ центарот на градот. “

    Проценетата вредност на инвестицијата за првата линија на метрото е 1,3 милијарди евра, а вкупната вредност на двете линии ќе чини над 4 милијарди евра.
